If you want to continue the spiral in the same direction, you place your string diagonally across the last knot, it does not matter from which side. But have a look at these sites with instructions.
(E-mail me when you can not work it out!)

You can go to the site of the boondoggle man:
http://www.boondoggleman.com/the_projects3.htm

Or try the instructions on scoubidou sites:
http://www.panduro.co.uk/scoubidou.html
http://www.yoarra.nl/eng/
http://www.scoubiguide.co.uk/
http://knopen.ismijnhobby.nl/tables/scoubi_text_table.html

On page 4 on this last site is a crocodile made with the same knot, and the instructions are different from most others:

U could try going to fire mountain gems' site...they not only have jewelery patterns, but also great deals on beads! Its been one of my best beading resources!

About that specific pattern...you will pull ur hair out going site to site trying to find that specific pattern, so i recommend u google the EXACT name of the pattern, then add "+ free jewelery patterns". It will still take u a little time to find that pattern, but quicker than the other way of just going to general pattern sites. Also, doing it this way, i guarantee u will find sites that will become excellent resources for you to return to in the future!!
