No reason to be embarassed.

There's no modesty in show biz.

Besides, think of 50% of the population who must display what they have in cups.

Honestly, no, you should not be embarrassed about it. Especially since every other guy in the show is in exactly the same boat. And anyone who shows up and concentrates on the size of your "package" is not there for the play (the perv!!). If you and the other boys in the cast are worried about it, you could always go to the director and ask about wearing a cup in your jock, like they do in baseball.... however, that might restrict some of your movement.

Most of the Shakespeare plays I've done required the guys to wear tights. It's really no big deal. I even did a show where I was pretending to be a girl, and wore tights and a dress. The first scene in "drag" I sat on a chair like any guy would... and the entire audience could see up my dress (fortunately I was wearing tights)... of course it got the big laugh it was suppose to.

My school ddi that musical last year!! Cats is such a good musical. don't be embarrased, especially since other guys will also be in the same position. They are probably also embarrased and wonder if they are the only one embarrassed too. You and the other guys are in the same position so don't worry. And besides it's good that you have a good sized body! Just think about it! There might be a guy there who is fat and he should worry because it's kind of gross for a fat guy to go in tights! All I can say is don't be embarrased and just think about the wonderful performance you will do! Good luck!!

Don't be embarassed, be professional. Rise above the situation and show what a great actor you truly are.
