Buck had been cheating on Dottie since the very early 1970's. She attempted suicide following the first time. She was saved when a friend called and heard her slurred voice. This attempt is public knowledge. But, he continued to have affairs right up to the end of the marriage. He last cheated with and later married a secretary at Rambo Ministries. He left Dottie sick and alone after all those years of marriage. He told me HE couldn't take her pain any more. She was devastated by it. I took care of her for about a year right after she asked him to leave. She dealt with pneumonia and surgery for a broken hip while I was there. HE was with his new girlfriend! Dottie never understood his reasons for the repeated adultery. It was heartbreaking to see what it did to her at such a low time in her life. She discovered evidence of the first adultery just before they were going on stage to minister at a church and she had to go out and appear normal! She was devastated by his multiple affairs. Dottie kept asking what SHE had done to cause him to cheat. I assured her it was his problem, not hers.
