the VS paint is highly sheened, will i need to prime the wall first...cheers

Yes fine, they are both water based and as stated above you may need two coats, Dulux Trade emulsion is some of the best on the market as opposed to the normal dulux from b&q etc... Trade paint is thicker and can be watered down more...

It will be fine. Obviously you will want to fill any holes etc. beforehand, so just give the walls a light rub over with the sandpaper as you rub down the filler. This ensures a good key, and means you get a nice smooth finish.

Yes - I've been there and done it. I really hate shiny walls and ceilings too. Give walls two coats of paint and they will look lovely. Use paint pads to apply paint - fast and easy.

Primer Don't think so. Depends also on the degree of colour change. If a bit patchy give it a second coat. Should be OK.

No , that should be OK. If you are covering a dark colour with a light one, you may need a couple of coats. See how it looks.

You should not have a problem as i have done this many times before without priming .

that is ok ,make sure the wall is clean of grease and dirt first.I always give it the once over with a bt of scratch first .

no its not ok matt emulsion just does not look as good as vinyl silk..... have some class lol
