There are two main reasons why a lot of people hate the Yankees. One, your a Red Sox fan and and the hate comes with the loyalty, or your mad because your favorite team doesn't have the biggest salary cap by a long shot. Personally, I don't mind them, because they aren't going to have a shot at the AL East for a while because the Red Sox are going to win it as long as they do what they've done this year.
