Some experiences need to be shared with friends - riding a roller coaster is definitely one. Tell her if she doesn't come along she won't have wonderful memories to share in the future with you!- she'll never get that moment or that feeling back.

OK, first start her on a high plane like ride and start small then let her try a Kidd roller coaster then let go to a real them park and let her try out one there and if she still say no don't hesitate to try virtual roller coasters like the open in Disney quest @ downtown Disney that a great place to start she can make a roller coaster t her liking.

Tell her that the girl who lost both legs on an amusement park ride just recently was not on a roller coaster and it has been years since anyone died from anything other than simple heart failure riding those slippery rails to fast excitement.
Remind her that in movie portrayals only huge monsters are
able to crash through the towering constructions infrequently at best so bring a camera just in case. Personally like the one beside Santa Cruz sandy beach but I'm old fashioned.

Tell her that there's only a one in 25,000,000 chance that both her feet will be cut off at the ankles.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Police confirmed that a 13-year-old girl's feet have been cut off at Six Flags' Kentucky Kingdom. Officials said they got the call around 5 p.m. Thursday. Officials said both her feet were detached at the ankle, but at least one witness said the girl's legs were completely gone.

According to MetroSafe dispatch supervisors, the girl was riding the Superman Tower of Power, which is 177 feet tall and drops riders at 54 miles per hour. According to Kentucky Kingdom, the girl was injured when the ride malfunctioned.

?We seen the cable break loose soon as it got to the top on the right-hand side,? said Chris Williams, who witnessed the event.

tell her how much fun it is, that it's not scary at all and go on the least intense one at the park, she probably won't be disappointed. Don't start fighting with her though, but maybe say things like "I promise I won't make you go on another one ever agian if you go on this...." or just say things like "I'll pay for your food if you go on it" I'm not sure if they'll work but i know she'll have fun if she goes on the coaster!

plus go on youtube and search for the least intense coaster at the park if you find it while someone has a camera and is riding it watch it for yourself first and if you think it will help show it to her =]

Why don't you not try to push her. Maybe try to console her into riding the rollercoaster maybe if you get a couple of she and your friends it might make her think that it is okay and she won't get hurt, and she might think that it is the best thing to do at an amusement park. Good Luck

Tell her that it may be scary, but as soon as it's over, you'll realize that you had a blast. It really isn't that scary, and you'll get to try something new. But don't force her to if she doesn't want. Maybe telling her that will change her mind, but if you tell her that and she still says no, her mind is made up and she isn't going to ride. Give her a break.

I've only been on them 2 times and will never ride one again. The times I've been on, I get so scared that I lose my voice and can't move.

i wouldnt push your friend to doing something she doesnt want to do. i was always scared of roller coasters until my mother made me ride one (i was younger)...if anything, it made it worse, i dont like the sheer drops and the constant feeling youre going to fly off. if anything, riding it made me more scared of them, and thats still the first, last, and only time ive ever ridden one. if she doesnt want to, respect her wishes

okay I don't like roller coasters either...just like your friend! My mom made me go on one when I was little so I could see how they were....and i HATED it!!! i cried through the whole thing...I just dont like that dropping feeling like your about to die or something!!! You can't force her or convince her to do anything she doesnt wanna do. My friends just tried to convince me yesterday to go to six flags with them today....and nothing would convince me!! She has to go on one when she feels like she's ready!
