I think the best candidate by far (in my opinion) is John Edwards. He is fairly young (compared to some of the older candidates) and is very forward thinking. He has a lot of experience with adversity (he lost a child and his wife survived breast cancer) and seems like he is extremely bright and well balanced (between politics, family, and the public forum). He addresses the taxation of the rich in the US to help out growing debt and financial troubles, he supports getting out of Iraq and is good with foreign relations. In addition, he really cares about education, the future of America, and the interests of the general public. He doesn't make any crazy promises and seems a good person in general. I have no doubt that he will be our president sometime in the future, hopefully in 2008, but definately sometime later in the future. Hope this gives some momentum to the question that you asked, thanks for asking.

The one (et al) that can end this draining and killing situation in Iraq. & one that can lead instead of religously following the corporate powers that are only concerned about their vile, disgusting & dishonest bottom line. Unfortunately, the President (new or old) isn't the root of the problems we face. It's our own greed and lust and all that -- bigger is better and we all want it all no matter what the cost. $800 haircuts, $70K SUVs, $600 for dinner and a darn condo in the mountains to get away from all of it. And who here is challanging this idiotic time?

I am looking at all of them to see how they do and how they flip around, my Eye is on Romney, so far I think he is the best qualified. I have felt about the last four elections - we don't have enough choices, maybe more this time - but quite a few seem to be so peripheral that they don't have much of a chance. A couple scare me ( Hillary and Hussein Obama ), so maybe we have a diversified choice afterall.

Personally I like Tancredo or Romney, but it looks like Guilliani or Fred Thompson will be the republican nominee. Out of the Democrats, Barack is okay but they are all going too far to the left for my liking at the moment. They will become more centrist after the primaries though.
However, I believe that Hillary will be the next president of the United States (that makes me sad).

I'm not sure yet. I can't even vote this time around because I'm too young but I've always been vary interested in this issue. When there are less people in the game I'll make my decision about who I want to win.

I like John Edwards, and yes he is.
But I'd be happy with anyone but McCain because pretty much all of em are an improvement over our current "leader".

I just can't see another Clinton in the White House. Could Bill really make it as the first lady?

It seems like a lot of them are addressing their image and coolness factor trying to attract voters rather than addressing the issues.

Rudy Giuliani- if he did decide to run, I love him, and he has proven to America he can take care of us.
