The guy who answered that bullpen catchers make the minimum mlb salary is dead wrong. Here's the skinny...

Teams carry 1 or 2 bullpen catchers. Most of these guys are former minor leaguers who probably played several seasons for the organization and wish to stay involved in the game. An example would be Steve Solis, the LAA bullpen catcher.

Bullpen catchers usually receive $2,000/mth beginning with spring training and ending when his team's season comes to an end, either after the regular season or the playoffs.

Bullpen catchers receive approx $75/day per Diem which is intended for meals and clubhouse dues. The club also pays for their air fair and hotel rooms.

Its not a glamorous job but its a way to keep on wearing a uniform.

They are usually something like a strength/conditioning coach, or their assistant. Maybe a well-connected wannabe or other jock-sniffer. Some I have heard of took that job because their own pro baseball dreams went up in smoke for whatever reason. I don't imagine they make much money. I'd advise keeping whatever job you currently have. . . .

Send a letter to the stadium and ask about that. I don't know much about it myself.
