Criss Angel, hands down. No magician has anything on him. Not even Houdini himself. Criss always keeps us guessing and trying to figure out just what he is doing. Anyone else performs a trick, we all know it's an illusion right from the start. With Criss we never really know what we're getting which makes it that much more intruiging.
Plus, I believe that the best illusionist is the one that leaves all the other illusionists clueless and scratching their heads. Criss Angel has definetly accomplished this on more than one occassion.

David Blaine has no talent except self-promotion : sitting in a plastic cube for a month isn't magic.
Criss Angel is one of the best magicians/illusionists of his generation.
