I'm renting and I'm just curious to know how old the house is. Is there a web page I can go to. I live in Pittsburgh PA.

It's a matter of public record when a house was built. You can call your local court house and they will steer you to the right place to find out. It may or may not cost a few dollars to find out though.

Lift the back of the toilet tank and look for a date under the lid. It will tell you how old the toilet is so the house was probably built about the same time. Another way is the tag on the electric meter. Zillow.com often has home information also if you are in a covered area. My county has property tax records on line you you can look them up by address.
