Business is a wider term. The reason being that business means performing a set of activities for carrying out transactions that genrate cash surplus. Here, trade is just one activity.

Business is all transactions for profit where trade is just the exchange of goods. Therefore business is the wider term.

business means : duty , employment , occupation , profession ,
trade means :the business of buying and selling , commerce , occupation. So wider term will be trade. Good luck!

business is a wider term as compared to trade.Trade means just the transaction of goodss while business comprises trade,warehousing,transport and all such services.
