You Obama supporters should love this!

Excerpts:
WASHINGTON - One of the first 527 committees formed in support of a 2008 presidential candidate is Vote Hope, created by San Francisco attorney Steve Phillips, who is also the president and founder of the liberal PowerPAC.

Vote Hope bills itself as a PAC in support of Sen. Barack Obama.

The most well-known 527 was 2004's "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth," the group that targeted John Kerry and his Vietnam military record.

gunkinthedrain, as a voter and concerned citizen, I keep tabs on both sides of the fence. Don't you think that's the prudent thing to do?

Just as the Libs protest in the most low class way (ala nutty Cindy Sheehan and her K-Mart dressed cohorts), by blocking traffic, shouting obscenities, etc., they also argue like a couple of rabid dogs.

Isn't it hilarious that the "peace, love, and understanding" crowd are anything but? And what's even funnier is that they're so utterly clueless about how they behave. It's just like when Chrissie Hyne of The Pretenders was denouncing people who aren't vegans. She once said they can "all F---- Off", and another times said people who eat meat..... should be killed ! (very peace loving)

All you have to do is get a Liberal riled up and you can see his true colors. They talk a good game, but it's all just a phony facade. They're vicious.

I sincerely doubt that Vote Hope will use the same underhanded smear tactics that the Swift Boat 527 used. I’m sure Obama would condemn it.

What bothers me is why MSNBC would point out such a comparison just because the two groups fall under the same IRS Code category. That seems a little ridiculous.

I'm sorry but I don't see a connection.
Why would you see a connection between this 527 and the pit bull 527 group, Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, unless as a republican you are used to these tactics?

I completely support Obama...

And the "swiftboat veterans for truth" (which are neither of either) have nothing to do with it.

I also admire Hillary, Guiliani, Edwards and Ron Paul.

I never tear anyone apart...

MSNBC is well on its way to becoming the new FOX... their support of their own Fred "TV" Thompson is shameless.

I don't think it would be "fun" to watch any Americans tear each other to shreds.

I think it's sad that people feel the way you do. It's okay to have differing political views but, in my opinion, irrational hate is not healthy for America.

And to say, "But they do it too!" sounds like a junior high excuse.

I really do not see how it will make the libs tear each other to shreds. Obama's camp already pitched a dirty ploy to Hillary's camp, Hillary's camp proceded to knock it down Obama's throat. It has already been noted that Hillary has the sharpest, savviest press team of all the candidates.
This is not biased as I support neither one.

if you were a good Republican, I think you should be more worried about your candidates? Then again, somehow Bush got elected, and Dukakis got nominated, so i guess miracles and idiocrisy can prevail on either side

no...and thank you for furthering the policy of tearing your mother country apart. you laugh...but we will need to come together as a nation at some point. you are doing nothing to hasten that day.
