That all these conservative and liberal zealots are doing is making the moderate majority sick of all of their gas, and lighting a fire under them so that they will get out and force the country to be led by common sense, rather than liberal or conservative dogma?

I hope so.
The fact that it's the "zealots" who vote in the primaries results in the candidates moving to the extremes for the primaries. So we either end up with either extremists or hyporites.

The only thing in the middle of the road are yellow lines and dead squirrels.
The majority is moderate and that is why America has gone stagnant. It's their refusal to get involved and make change that is the problem.
