North Korea will not shut down their reactor, unless they are forced by military action. Once they shut down the reactor they lose their only bargaining chip. They will not be able to get more aid or assistance if they shut down the reactor. They will hold out as long as they can. North Korea has the third largest army in the world, they are not afraid of anyone.

yes...it's in their best interest, and the Chinese leadership has told them to. can they be trusted? who knows...can we be trusted? our side in Washington keeps the threat level high and then is clueless as to managing the blowback.
