It depends on the engine I think I need more details plus I sort of don't understand the question.

i think hes talking about the stroke?
stroke and bore
283 is, umm im not sure of that 1?
5.0-305 is 3.480 inc stroke with a 3.730 bore.
5.3 -327 is 3 in stroke (not 100% on that) with a 4 inch bore
5.7-350 is 3.480 inch stroke with a 4 inch bore
then you got the 355, thats just a 350 bored 30 over
383 is a 350 bored 30 over with a 3.750 inch stroke on the crank.
a small block 400 is 3.750 stroke iwth like i think 4.125 bore.

What's a crank raitio. Rocker arm ratios are 1.5 intake and exhaust if some one hasen't changed them to 1.6 arms.
