. . . . who thinks that the feeding frenzy about this young woman's interviews after prison is a collusion between her family and the media?

In my opinion, if mainstream media put her in perspective instead of furthering this nonsense, everyone would forget about her yesterday. I plan to write all the major outlets asking for a moratorium on 'tabloid treatment' including PAYING for footage glamorizing this nonsense.

To abe: Yeah, I guess it's all my fault. How silly of me to extend her shelf-life even one question more!

The Hiltons are a PR machine. Their job is making money...and they will do anything to get it. Paris never appears ANYWHERE without a fee. Every move is calculated so, I think your theory is at least partially correct.

It's totally overblown, all this attention on a young woman who is not qualified for it; I guess it's about her last name. Hour upon hour of "news" about her. There are so many genuine & worthy news stories that the media doesn't cover. For example, Antarctic icebergs breaking off due to ocean warming are hotspots for oceanic creatures (journal Science). There are biological & medical discoveries untouched on. The media is failing the public.

The media presents what they think people want to see and hear. It's about Ratings equal Big Bucks.

It is no longer the media. She has turned from socialite to freak show and the public rightly want to see it live. Enjoy.
