Because they are men! Men thrive on the chase. If it is easy they are not that amused. I think the turn on is when a woman plays hard to get - not difficult - but with just a hint of teasing.

You should realize that it works the exact same way for women. I agree with what most people are saying about how it's the challenge, but it's also how people usually begin acting differently once they have something. But if one or both parties control themselves and act fun and interesting regardless of how they feel towards the person, the other or both people (respectively) will continue showing interest.

Because they want something they can't have. you're not giving them any attention and that's what they want so they'll try and get it by fighting for it. I've had the same thing with an ex.

Because it is a game to them. They like the chase and when they get to your liking them the game is over and the chase has ended and they are no longer interested in you.

Because maybe when your into them they just dont like you or dont want to show it around there guy friends.

Omg, i hate it wen that happens. They just like to feel as though they have "won" your attention. Idk. When they can;t hav somthing they have to fight for it and once they get it and feel accomplished they dont need it anymore.
