I might say to them, "I think you are angry with me because you aren't talking to me as you normally do. If you have a problem, I'll do my best to listen and help resolve it."
Then, if they still don't say anything, I would go about my day. If they want to busy themselves holding a grudge, then great. If that's what they think is best for themselves, then I would honor that, but I wouldn't let it get me down. I'd still show them respect and consideration, but I do that for everybody as habit.

I think sometimes people give other people the silent treatment because they're afraid that if they do say something when they're upset, they will regret it later because it will hurt the other person's feelings too much if they say it, so they figure silence is actually better than saying something really hurtful. After all, once you say words, you simply CANNOT take them back, and even if you apologize later, the words that hurt have still been heard. I know it hurts to feel like you're being shut out but it is horrible if somebody says mean things to you instead of silence...but, yeah, I know neither one feels good. Maybe he's trying to protect you and respect your feelings by being silent instead of saying something mean and nasty or lashing out because he loves you and knows you did nothing to deserve his angry words, and he does appreciate you trying so hard to make things work. I do, however, think you should be allowed to talk to your male friends as long as they are just friends. Like I said, maybe he has a lot on his mind and doesn't ever want to say anything to you that he will regret saying, later, so he just instead says nothing. Is he responsible for paying child support for all those babies? If he is, that surely puts a lot of strain and pressure on him, unless he is so rich or comes from such a rich family that money is not a problem. Do you know if the other women he had kids with, phone him wanting money? Maybe he just needs some "space" right now and, as hard as it is, because you want to communicate with him so desperately, maybe it's best if you say nothing at all about it. I would just give him space...good luck to you.

Everyone I know is mature enough not to give me the silent treatment, bitt it's happened in the past. It makes me feel frusterated, and guilty... but eventually they get over it and we sort things out... :0)

Makes me feel that I did something wrong... disappointed them..... or let them down in some way. *sigh* I completely upsets me because I like to confront things.... get them out in the open. I'm praying a good friend of mine will be willing to confront things soon.

it makes me feel sad very sad inside , because i feel that this person has no life if he has no one to talk out his feelings with, and ignoring the matter is pure ignorance, If this person is ignoring you call him or her and ask them to please explain why you are ignoring me, and keep it up till you get answers, It helps to talk it out not to ignore one another
