No. I'm not even close to being done. I have 2 paragraphs written which is half a page. My parents arent even helping me, and this is super hard. So yeah..I need help and now one is there to help me! I cant find anything online to help me. I have to have 3 reasons why I am for the Vietnam War, but all i can think of is that it stopped the spread of Communism! So, if anyone has ANY ideas, then by all means, GIVE ME SOME!

Have you written that paper, yet? We're all anxiously awaiting the final draft.

Addendum:

If you think the Vietnam War "stopped Communisim", you need to do more research. Remember, the Communists WON that war and expanded into South Vietnam.

For a clue as to an additional cause - excuse is a better term, I think - read this from the first paragraph in the link provided by the poster above:

"To a degree, the war may be viewed as a Cold War conflict between the U.S., its allies, and South Vietnam on one side, and the Soviet Union, its allies, the People's Republic of China, and North Vietnam on the other. Others, however, viewed the conflict as a civil war between communist and non-communist Vietnamese factions."

Note the civil war aspect and consider that the U.S. was asked - many times - by the government of the South to send aid.

Well, I know a great website that will tell you all of the reasons for the conflict in Vietnam, but if you don't want it, pfffft.

Maybe you should just do your homework, huh?

Let me know if you want the web address.
