if u win any lottery that is in the multi 8digit millions its foolish to do anything but invest 100%.

Why, because you can litterally do everything else off the income alone.. And still have the $$$ after paying off everything.

Alll else is secondary to investing.
After that:
1. Pay off bills
2. Buy new cars & house.
3. Travel.
4. Chariety.

Again, nothing before investing.
Those who say they would give a part to chariety 1st are fools. Do you relilze that you could give to that chariety forever by investing it 1st and then giving that chariety a even bigger gift with a forever annuity.

(A forever annuity is one wheere the chariety gets income from a gift - forever ... Charietys prefer this kind of gift over outright $$ gifts.

Well I'm not married so I can't divorce but I wouldn't leave my boyfriend. I might quit working but that's not likely either.

1) I'd buy some land and build the house I want with my mother's mini house in the back so everyone can be comfortable.

2) I'd write one nice lump sum check to the student loan company for me--maybe for boyfriend but I haven't asked if he has student loans. If he did that would all be gone. Heck I'd probably kill all the student loan debt for my small circle of friends and my brother and his wife.

3) I'd buy a new car and keep the one I have now for my mother if she is ever able to drive and for when my family comes to visit.

4) I'd give a couple of million to each of my old schools and an equal amount to my father and mother's universities to establish scholarships in our names. Half of which would have to go into an interest drawing trust so the money wouldn't disappear in a few decades.

5) I'd sink a large chunk of it into various banks after giving some to my family to take care of them, their kids, and my grandmother. The rest would be invested in aggressive but stable investment opportunities.

1. Setup a trust fund for my family
2. Place 80% of the after tax winnings in the trust fund and invest in CD's, US / International Bonds the a stock market index and relestate.
3. Give my wife 1/4 of the remaining 20%, my children 1/4 of the remaining 20% for their education and to purchase their first homes, myself 1/4 of the remaining 20% and 1/4 of the remaining 20% would go to paying off ALL bills and expenses. What's left of the bills and expense portion would go into an account to pay the recurring bills etc...
4. Create a foundation to help the poor (using a portion of the interest from the 80%) and develop clean renewable energy products.
5. Live and invest the remaining interest of the 80% for the rest of our lives kicking it and enjoying life.

1. Cover all legal aspects.
2. Change my phone number.
3. Contact realtors that handle offshore properties.
4. Invest responsibly so my family never has to work for generations.
5. Declare myself Queen of the island I purchased in #3, inquire into Diplomatic benefits, appoint family members to my court, contact a reality show producer on contract possibilities, begin construction of my estate and finally have billboards placed all over town where my ex lives with me holding my winning ticket on MY beach!
Ain't fantasies fun . . .

I would invest in blah blah blah blah....SCREW INVESTING! I have a Hunter S. Thompson personality so I don't care about the longevity of my life. If I won the 89 million I would lead a reckless life at FULL SPEED. Lots of cocaine, fast cars, and fast women. I'd go until my body wore down. Then whenever I lay at my deathbed, sickly and ill from the hard partying, I would smile as I thought about those brief moments of pure bliss.

1. quit my job so that I can finish school (more quickly) and get a job I actually enjoy (have a job b/c I want it, not b/c I need it.)

2. Buy a couple of houses. One in my hometown, one in Tahoe . . .

3. Put enough money away to pay for my boys to go to college and grad school (w/o having to worry about working thru school)

4. Go on a "round-the-world" vacation.

5. Rodeo drive, baby!!!!

We would take a big chunck of the money and help family and friends, both mine and hubby's side of the family. Then we would probably buy a new house (been remodeling the one we are in...don't recommend it, buy, buy, buy! ha) Third thing would be to set up investments for our future and the kids. Fourth would be setting aside a big chunk for a charity close to our hearts....probably relating to children....Fifth, don't know....start planning a family vacation to Disney World?
