a girl is wanting me to pay her airfare to usa from nigeria...an says only way is cash sent to her?? why cant i charge a ticket on usa end of airlines?

Don't go for that. Definitely it is Nigerian scam. Don't lose your money.

It's probably a scam.
It's also probably a lot cheaper to buy a return trip to the US than to book the ticket in the US (they have promotional fares, etc.). This has happened to me several times when I was living in places that weren't necessarily on the tourist trail. I've also flown airlines (in the early days of the ex-USSR and post-Aerofloat) that would only take payment in cash because they needed the money to buy the fuel. But, I don't think the local airlines in Nigeria are in that state. Certainly for a major airline someone can use a credit card.

Hey do not fall for any scams and this sounds like one airlines in Nigeria are also the same big ones we use here Virgin, BA, KLM. Air France and they all take Credit cards as well. Please do not fall for dumb scams and remember it is better to just ignore mail from people you do not know.

Sure you can! She just wants to fleece you of $$$. It is a scam and you may never see her or the money again
