And there's a little something that won't go into the bag, how many times do you run over the darn thing just hoping it will before you pick it up? I usually try 4 or 5 times before I give up.

I usually wrap a piece of tape, sticky side out, around my knee when vacuuming. If its missed on the double pass I just kneel and pick it up with the tape on my knee. Saves a lot of time. Then when needed rotate the tape a bit and clip it off when done.

Now that does sound familiar. I have done that but most of the time, it is one pass and if the particle is stubborn, kick it under the carpet. lol. No bend over and pick it up.. Boy I am not in a cleaning mood today.

via the third time of passing over it, i visit in many cases loosen it from the carpet then attempt lower back, except that's obvious the vacuum won't be able to take care of it, then I purely p.c.. it up. yet it somewhat is uncommon.

I always bend over and pick it up. Of course I only vacuum every couple of years, but I do it right

Lol! I do that too. And the dumb thing is that when I get it unstuck from the floor, I drop it back down so the vacuum can pick it up :D

Dude I totally understand what your saying---I just vacumed and ran over something at least 6-7 times before i pick it up...so frustrating......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
