Last summer my Pumpkin came to the demo site that was our soon to be store. He heard I had been injured with a nail. Scooped me up in his arms and took me to the health dept for a tetanus shot. Nothing spells love better than a man preventing his woman from getting lock jaw!

I remember well the 70s I had a haunt (restaurant ) I frequented. It was called Daphne's. All love the waitresses wore evening gowns with floppy hats.
The head waiter would always ask me if I wanted my usual table. I would sniff the cork and taste the wine. There was an indoor pool and a piano Bar that took request.
I always had a song that suited my guest. I made sure to keep my eyes on only her.
The food was impeccable, I almost never ate it, always a dogie bag. Though I seemed so thoroughly confident. My heart always beat with anticipation as I looked into the glowing smiling faces of my dates.
I reveled in the moment , On cue my song would be played and we would dance smooth and slow as I whispered sweet words of beauty in her ear . Taking in the ambiance , preparing for a memorable timely kiss. Lost in her wide trembling eyes.
Oh how I loved romance.

Actually 15 years ago in 1992 , i swept someone off their feet so I guess you could say I did the sweeping but I was dumb and missed out on a great opportunity...( i liked her a lot but I stopped calling ... Wayne's World came out at that time and I felt "Not Worthy")

It was a long time ago. Twenty-four years, in fact. She was the girl I'd later marry. We were always exchanging love notes & little gifts, things like that. Powerful chemistry was at work. It was very passionate. Maybe too passionate. We would eventually end up divorcing, but that's another story.
