Sometimes I give best answers to the cute answers even if they don't know what I meant by the question.

no i never have. i read their response and just say ooook.
i did add additional details to a question once, (as a response to what someone said) even though i knew the person i was aiming it at would never see it.

I see what you mean! That was quite funny! No, I probably wouldn't have picked that as best answer. Would have wanted to pick someone who understood being able to do just as you please now that you're on your own.
