I like how everyone is pitting the two together. Bonds is about to break the All Time Home Run record and everyone is now waiting for A-Rod to break Bonds record. I would rather see A-Rod do it myself because of the whole "controversy" surrounding Bonds.

Bonds is going to break the record, but not by much. He's at the end of his career. It certainly looks like A-Rod has the best shot at breaking Bonds' record in the future. However there are no guarantees in life, especially in sports. Around 8-10 years ago all everyone thought was that Griffey was going to be the one to break the record, and look how that turned out.

Bonds will not break the record by much??? lol How about he will go over 800 and i will bet on it and GUARANTEE it. Bonds wants 3000 hits worse than 755 homers. He will return for at least one more year to get the 3000. That is about another 125 hits which means at least 40 more homers and he will then finish the season so i look for bonds to hit at least 60 more homers putting the record in the low 800's. A-rod still on pace, but everyone breaks down different. What will go on arod and when?? legs, eyes, back??? I say arod doesnt get there based on past history 800 is a huge feat!!!!!!!

yeah just waite for the a-rod controversy. why is bonds accoused but no one talks about a-rod taking riods. people are rediculous about this issue. you can't say bonds took riods and that a-rod did not. i don't know about either and personally i don't barely care. it's the leagues fault. and the pitchers took it too if any one took it. doesn't matter. bonds has great hand eye coordination and is very talented. same can be said about rodriguez. innocent till proven guilty. that means duct tape on the mouths of bonds degraders and a first ballot vote into the hall with out a doubt. you've got to be kidding me. if bonds doesn't get in the first ballot then just shut the hall of fame down. there's not enough fingers to point. and these guys are innocent till proven guilty

purely inspect A-Rod's song record. He has been on the DL for decrease than perhaps as quickly as. apart from,he's the only participant EVER in mlb history to hit 35 dingers, score a one hundred runs, and bat in a one hundred runs. basically participant. purely think of of that stat on my own; no babe no bonds no Aaron, purely arod has executed that. His physique is likewise in stunning situation so except some thing rather undesirable happens to him, I dont see a single reason he won't have the potential to surely wreck bond's record.
