Am the original owner of street address. A credit card company sent a customer's cc#, name and address to my address. The envelope was unsealed. Also enclosed was a copy of the letter from the customer asking for some money back , owed from the CC company. The CC company also sent along an application for credit for this person.
I am really ticked and am going to take action, just don't know who I should contact first.
PS. I have an active acct. with this company but owe no money and have already notified the credit bureaus.

I'm spiteful so I'd contact a local television reporter. With credit fraud and identity theft rampant these days something like you described should never happen. The person whose information you received is lucky that an honest person got their mail.
