Without a doubt, what your looking for is Clearwater Beach. There are no loud nights, or obnoxious college kids. The locals are very friendly. The weather is great. It is the perfect family environment.

The beaches are amazing, a very crisp texture, with white sand. The water is quite calm, ideal for the kids.

I would suggest it 100%

we just left Fl we went to pinsicola beach on santa rosa island it was gorgeous but we went towards the end of Fort Pickins rd to find a less crowded spot. but I think St Augustine was better also if I may suggest look into KOA Kampgrounds for a cabin instead of hotel rooms we saved a ton of money and had alot of activitys for the kids at the grounds themselves

My choice would be Daytona or Sanibel Island. But as regards to crowds, this is Summer vacation time, every fun place will be undoubtedly crowded!!!! Don't kid yourself that there'll be a place that is not crowded. Funplace for kids? anywhere there is water to play in and sand would be fun for a kid.

i really like clearwater, fl. it is not an extremely busy town and it is really pretty, and i mean, it is not that that far from like orlando, fl, so if you are wanting to go to disney or anywhere, its not that far. also there is this place i went there where they go underwater and dive for sponges, it was fun to go in all the shops with all the shells but i don't remember the name of it. sorry!
