I want a land turtle or land tortiose [if thats how u spell it] =P it should b lik medium size id say about....2-8 inches long no longer then that,its ok if its a lil longer tho please give me the name of the turle and if u hav personal xperiance info on da habbitat would b awsome its ok if u dont tho! thnx =]=p

Yes Box turtles are really good pets, and cute little fellers. They are fairly easy to take care of and they are not noisy at all. They eat lettuce and tomatoes and bananas and many different types of fruits and vegetables. Well I guess I really don't have much to say about them so good luck :-)

One of the smallest land tortoises is the box turtle, at 6-8 inches long. See http://boxturtlesite.org for great info.

Most tortoises will start out small like that but they will grow to be a bit bigger than that.
I believe the Russian or Golden tortoises stay smaller. I can tell you that sulcata's or spur thighed tortoises get big so you might want to stay away from them.
