How do you become an Oysterman/woman?

I would like to enter the career of being an Oyster Shucker. I was watching Dirty Jobs the other night and did some math and this is a very lucrative career to get into. My questions are:

-Where areoysters boats being docked across the US?
-What are the requirements of becoming an Oyster Shucker?
-What are the pros and cons of it?
-Are there are any independent or major corporations that employe Oyster Shuckers?
-Are there any websites out there with any other information?

my answer is just get out there and pick up some oysters and sell what ever you find to red lobster
