Why do people that don't approve of Lesbian, Gay and Transgendered people post in this section? Or, for that matter even look at the questions?

Because there are some quite nasty people in the world and it makes them feel good to cowardly post degrading messages........I just want to say to those people, is being nasty and vicious really worth the 2 points? No, I think not.

Life is a mystery and these people are mysterious. I guess it's like the naughty schoolboy complex, they love sniffing bicycle seats but would never own up to it. Perhaps it's because we gays lead more exciting lives and have more interesting views about the world. Maybe as some others have said they are in the closet. Some are just downright bigots and religious fanatics who love to show they are in control of our destiny. I guess it's a question you might post in the straight section and see what they say. Good question anyway.

Personally I tend to agree with you, in that if you despise and hate something or someone so much why go to the very place where you know you're going to meet them! However the answer I have been given in the past depends on who you talk to. The more Evangelical Christians say it is because people need to hear the 'truth' therefore this is the most obvious place. The 'blind bigots' do it because they need attention and they know this is where they'll get it.

Firstly they are drawn towards this section because of their repressed gay feelings. They enjoy reading about gay issues which they find a 'turn on.' They attack gay people as a way of covering up their true feelings (even to themselves), this justifies them being on these pages and also give them a cheap thrill. Many of them will 'grow up' eventually and come to terms with what they are. The rest will find their attitude to life grows increasingly bitter.

They don't have the equipment or the guts to be what they are, so they come to an easy place to pick on us, the ones that have. Maybe they were bullies at school and getting revenge. Sad whatever
