....or can you just kick back and relax?

Your decision. Do more in the evenings after work so you won't have so much to do on days off. Or do all your stuff on one day and take the other for kickin' it.

My husbands days off are also my days off. With four kids its rarely ever a day "off" but I get all of the housework, laundry, yard work done on the days that he's at work so we can relax more when he's off. He's off this weekend and yesterday I busted my azz to get it all done. So far we've had a relaxing morning and get the spend the day hanging with the kids and learning music for tomorrows band practice...I'm sitting here listening as I type this....I'm relaxed...yay

I'm off for the summer. I do housework on my own schedule - when I'm tired of kicking back When I am working, I don't do a darn thing if I'm home sick or if I took a personal day.

When you have a few days off, I see no reason to spend the whole time cleaning. If you think about it, cleaning is never done. We all need a little time for ourselves. I usually pick one day on the weekend to do the cleaning and the other day for things I want to do.

A bit of both. If your house work takes all day then you either need to get a smaller house, use your time more wisely throughout the week or get checked out for OCD.

When I am off work, I work harder at home. Non stop cleaning up after a 13 year old, 4 year old and a 3 year old. With no man at home for help.

my mom got an email a while back... "it said if your house is spotless... then your missing out on life" i believe it was in a forward dealing with breast cancer... but i have to say i agree... my kids are young... i dont want to miss much of it... so why should i worry about 2 loads or laundry and a few dishes while theyre out playing in the sprinkler... i'd rather be out on the porch watching them giggle and laugh...and to have them give me that smile that melts all the guilt of having things to get done away.... theres always tomorrow or later...... for the house work... but not for life

i always have housework. it's a job that never seems to finish. if you don't decide to just stop and take time off, you will never find the time.

well if I had a lot of housework, I would probably do some but not the whole time, but if it wasn't to bad I wouldn't do any
