I have always been fascinated by alien abductions. Maybe some readers have experiences of this.

Imagine, an alien space ship hovering in space 20,000 miles above planet earth. The ship is millions of years ahead of our own technology and the occupants infinitely more intelligent than us….

Monday 14th April 2007…. On board the ship:

Alien One: “what shall we do today?”
Alien two: “Let us visit the planet yonder and seek out intelligent life”
Alien One: “OK”
Alien Three, looking through powerful telescope: “I MIT and many learned people”
Alien four: I see a trailer Park in Southern Florida and many Trailers”
Alien Two: “Take a subject from the trailer park, we shall learn much”

30 seconds later Larry from the Trailer Park lands in the craft.

Alien One: “ I have the estoliratrope and the repodetsigram ready to scan the brain and vital organs of this creature”

Larry: In confused State… “hey ya awl… where’s betty Sue

Alien Two: I see the creature is attempting to communicate, what shall we do?”
Alien One: “tell you what, forget the estoliratrope and the repodetsigram lets stick a probe up is bum”

All aliens: “Sounds good to me”

Larry: Owwwchhh.

Two days later Larry sits confused in his pick up truck, the engine has mysteriously repaired itself and the wipers are working. No static on the radio and he has a sore bottom. He ponders his next move….

Yes… Tell the world.

The question? Why do aliens always abduct inbreed idiots from the southern states when they could have their pick of humans?

It's either a joke or a scam didn't pay too much attention to it - either way it's a load of rubbish. You've got too much time on your hands if you take the time to study it more than the first few paragraphs. Do I believe in alien abduction - sort of! It's a sort of sleep disorder a well documented sleep disorder at that. In ancient times people believed it was witches / the old hag / demons or even the night mare (yes it's the origin of the term nightmare). It's technically called sleep paralysis and it's the opposite end of the sleep disorder spectrum as sleep walking. You basically wake up while still dreaming and your body is still paralised and your brain frantically searches for an explanation of what happens to you and your deepest fears and worries become visual realities as you're dreaming and awake at the same time. It latches onto plausible sources now in the days when everyone was afraid of being cursed by a witch they saw a witch paralysing them and doing horrible things to them, these days it's not cool to beleive in witches, demons, goblins or whatever but it's cool to believe in aliens so we call it alien abduction but it's acutally a genuine night mare - as opposed to what most people commonly call a nightmare which is actually just a bad dream.

I don't know if this is happening.
What I do know is that there are 35000 people in the States that believe they have been abducted at some stage.
I also know that there are support group where people meet and discuss these experiences.

Some of these people have appeared remarkably eloquent well educated and perfectly normal "otherwise" with sense of humour when i have watched them on tv

I have never seen a UFO or meet any aliens as far as I know,

Maybe you should talk about your encounter with someone....

What would be the point of abducting all the same kind of people. Any scientist will tell you that you need a random sampling.

Maybe to figure out what makes them tick?

I mean, with a scholar, you can say that he/she lives for science, or to acquire knowledge.

With the others, that might be the thing they wish to find out ;)

Well, you've certainly made yourself safe from any alien abduction. One look at your rambling and carrying on says it all -- "no intelligent life-form here".
