In America, where blacks always make it an issue of race, how do you feel about this?

For the sake of satisfying your curiosity, I will answer your offensively posed question. Angelina Jolie is an ACTRESS. That means she may portray a person's CHARACTER. That doesn't bother me one little bit.

For your information, Black people do not make an issue out of race, the majority who disenfranchise us do! For those who find it popular to say we are "playing the race card" when we call them on discriminating behavior my response is, "If you don't want me to play it, DON'T DEAL IT!"

Mariane Pearl approved of it. It’s her life and her book. Angelina Jolie is a good actress. I don’t see the problem.

I saw both of them on Charlie Rose discussing the film and they are both extraordinarily aware, intelligent and sensible women. I was impressed.

I don't believe I would have ever known if you did not tell me, and I still dont think give a rats azz. but since you asked, The movie business is all about looks the visual stuff, and if you ever look at Mrs. pearl you could see she and jolie look simular, In this case I donot think that Vivaca Fox or Halie Barrie could pass. So its ok to have a light complected person portray a light complected person.

It is an acting role and Mariane Pearl says she is ok with it. Angelina is a compotent actress and has gotten rave reviews. Im cool with it. Al Sharpton, just shut the f*ck up.

in the united states, if you have any african blood in you, you are considered african american. i believe we are the only country that categorizes in this way.

having said that, its a shame jolie is so arrogant and starring in such a role. i cant stand that hypocrite and they wont get my dime. yeah, i know, who cares, but it makes me feel better.
