If pinching is done without being hurtful or malicious, it might be the equivalent to a teeny love bite. I will pinch a girl in a loving ,warm way as a gesture that I care about her.Never with the intent to hurt! I had a gf once who use to pinch me until I was black and blue, and when I told her to stop, or I would spank her, she looked bewildered and said: "But I love you". I tried to explain , without success, that there were other ways of expressing love. She did not understand me, and we finally parted company.
