I like Brooke because brook is the spelling of the body of water. Brooke looks more feminine to me, too.

The name is usually spelled Brooke. Either way, it still means a stream of water. which is perfectly fine, but I wonder why people seem to think adding an e changes the meaning. You could spell it either way. I like it with the E.
