You might be spotting because you are not ovulating.I have friends that spot all the time in the middle of the cycle because one of their ovaries don't work.

did u have sex or any kind of four play? sometimes if its a little too rough or your first times doing things like that, you will have a little blood. Something could of scratched you...or could be an open wound due to an STD.

It could just be the start of your period, but if not then you should have it checked out by your doctor... it could be all sorts of harmless things, but better safe than sorry.
