Ive never made friends of such high quality as when i was like 12!
Still friends with 2 of em! But no knew frined can compare!
Is it cos because of the fact at ppls attitude to friends change as they get older! or cos ive known the others so much longer??

I think its because people learn how to deceive others so the innocent Trust is not there anymore.
Ive not had any fiends better than when i was about 12 either and the one i had left died on monday.

umm i have friends I've had since i was 6 and we're still really close but i also have made new friends....and i think its all about quality....if you find the right people and you guys just click ...it doesn't really matter how long you've knowen em....you can know some people for only days and feel like you know em for ages its about chemistry and fondness' i would say... i don't think time or age has anything to do with it because you can have a friend for 11 years and you could after all that time discover something pretty awful or they could do something to hurt you..!! two of my closest friends of one em i have knowen since i was in kinder-garden and the other i just meet working but i feel like there is no difference between the both and they're both very special to me..!! so don't close yourself up to great people in life they might pop up anywhere anytime and keep your heart open!! =)

Perhaps you are right by reading your answers. My best friend has been my friend since we were 5 or 6. I'll be 49 this year and she'll be 48 and guess what? We're still best mates, so I'll agree with your statement that they don't make friends like they used to!

I was friends with this one girl for maybe like 10yrs.. she moved away for 6months came back whole new attitude.. we're no longer the bestests friends anymore..

I think its because when we were younger we didn't care what people looked like and stuff.
So really people didn't do like serious judging until like 8th grade.
Right?
Remember kindergarten when you ran up to someone and said "Wanna be friends"
If people did that now they'd get beat up=/

I think its because when you are younger you find it easier to trust people and you have more time to spare them cus you arnt at work and always stressed.
