This is indeed very sad that policemen are acting like this. But all protectors are not criminals. There are some dutiful policemen out there. The main problem here is your last question. It is indeed very hard to decide whether we can really trust the law system or not. But all of us should get out of this bad habit of complaining. Stand up and do something for the country. As responsible citizens, we should become a part of the system to make it work efficiently; not sit back, complain and wait for a miracle-worker to solve our problems. More awareness for the upcoming generation is essential. When the new generation learns to take up the responsibility, only then will we be able to construct an ideal nation that will set an example for other countries of the world.
Raising voice against this kind of injustice, maintaining discipline and helping improve the system (whether we're a part of it or not) is what is required today.

Your question is based on news article or media report. If the persons involved were under influence of alcohol and tried to verbal or physical assault on the police, the police can justify their action. I don't live in India but I hear rich peoples sons do such things. If it is correct, the police need to put their thumbs down and set an example. If the persons involved were not drunk and there is no proof to that, the police could be a guilty party. Without knowing all facts it is very hard to answer this question or label police as criminals. Till then, you may not trust your legal system but you must obey the law of the country.

Police cops are criminals in uniform. They have been given eneough freedom to act the way they wish to & the sufferers are the poor innocent people. The sense of trust on these cops has almost collapsed. Nowadays the slogan is Never Trust a Policeman..& this is true in all sense & specially for girls. If these activities increases then anti-socialism will rise to a great height & then it will be impossible for anyone to stop such activities. On the other hand our law system cannot be trusted as it depends on proofs for any judgemnt & further the advocates are also criminals. In short trust yourself & no one else in this world.

not all policemen are like this. For one or two bad persons you can not blame all the others of it's kind. Most of the policemen are like this, but it is the same fact which makes a person bad or criminal in the same way a policeman is also a human being and not god, so yes, he can make such nonpunishable "MISTAKES". This is one side of the story
the other side is that, we can't even expect how much a policeman has to bear in his lifetime. How much tension they have to go throughout their duties. Their duties are not fixed, they can be called at any time throughout a day. So the kind of sleep they get is insufficient. Wherever possible they have to eat, so mostly unhealthy food they consume. That is why most of the policemen are fat like hell. Most of them die of heart attack and diabetes. At the time of alerts they have to do all the controlling action taking care that no one is hurt, but people are uncontrollable, they just want to get their demands completed. It is like a bad circle, everyone is a sufferer in this circle for his own reason, we can't blame any one.

Crimanals and police have many of the same personality traits and it is a fine line to sort between the two. Sometimes a bad candidate is choosen. Police must also work sometimes intense situations where they over react to threats of personal safety or challenges to their authority. More screening, training, and accountability is needed for police all over the world.

*There's a very fine line dividing the criminals or the terrorirsts from the policemen !!!!!!!
If u see their photographs, they all look almost alike !!!! Noticed ??
So, their actions too are almost similar......
though there are a few exceptions, but they have to toe the line or be falsely ''framed'' !!
