the way to unlock the column is to break it so you dont want to hot wire it. Go buy a new ignition or go to a junk yard and get it but you will need the keys from the junkyard vehicle

A new ignition lock cylinder is only about 50 bucks so I would suggest fixing it right. It's almost the same thing as breaking the column to unlock it and hot wire it as you ask. Remove the horn pad, steering wheel retaining clip, and the nut from the steering shaft. Then either use a puller or grab the wheel with both hands and wiggle it off. It will come, but you have to pull it pretty hard. Then use a spring compressor to hold the shaft and collapse the spring a little bit to remove the snap ring for the column lock. Remove the under dash panels so you can access the signal switch and disconnect it and remove it from the column holders. I don't remove the switch completely, but you need it loose to move it up. Now remove the screws for the switch to the lever and the attach ones. Slide the switch out some for access and remove the white plastic key switch. Now take the through bolt out from just under the lock cylinder and the cylinder will slide out. Reverse to replace. If you don't want a new cylinder, break the column at the top and the side to access this stuff and remove the cylinder and you can operate the switch with a pair of pliers. Good luck.

you can break the housing on the left side of the columb across from the ignition cylinder. its hard to explain but ill try, break the housing just below the turn signal, inside you will see a long rod with a gear in the middle. reach in with a screw driver and push it down or up(its been awhile) it gets hard to push when you reach the start position, when you want to shut it off move it in the other direction, make sure its in the off position and not excecery. you will kill the batt

you can take a proof of ownership to a dealership and they will cut you a key,if its not too old,I can't remeber how far they go back.
