that also buy?) Reason I ask is, I have really excelled in my handmade greeting cards/scrapbooks, etc. But the company listed in one of the most respected and known in general is magazine "Crafts Beautiful" (who has great sister companies, such as "Quick & Easy" and "Let's Make Cards")
So the company that is advertising, asking "Do you want to sell your homemade cards that you create?-We've a market for it.....and so on."
Has anyone ever sold there handmade cards, and how did it go. Also any other copanies names which offer same would e great.
thanks

I'd be really careful of this. Most large companies do all their art in house. It's easier and cheaper than dealing with individual artists, copyrights and royalties.

I would hate to see your original work/ideas stolen. Be careful of scams.

I agree with the first posting. My daughter does a lot of this kind of work, decoupage cards and wedding, christening invites etc. She sells a lot through local churches at coffee evenings and such. Then word of mouth gets further orders. Hope this helps.

The card companies actually hire people to do this full time. So you could wait til you're old enough and then SUBMIT an application.

the companies advertising in magazines are most likely scammers who want you to buy a marketing kit.

submit is the word, and to whom? usually those things are a boondoggle, they will steal your idea and not send you a cent, if you are really good at it send them to hallmark , american greetings or blue mountain. learn to spell first. better yet take your cards to small local shops and sell them on comission. even resturants sometimes sell greeting cards and things.
