I know that if I format my Laptop it'll return to the way it was when I got it, but, all the guides I've read about this tell me I need my Activation Key and Windows Xp Installation CD, the problem is I don't have any of those things cause Xp came installed on my Laptop. What do I do?

format is the wrong word... but you should have a disk that came with the laptop called "restore" or install.. take that disk and insert it into your cd drive..
if you really don't have the cd that came with the laptop, you need to contact the people that sold it to you to get that disk..

'TheHumbleOne' gave you about everything you should need. 'Andy' eluded to a Recovery Partition so, goto Help and type in "Recovery". Also, some computers offer the opportunity to create your own recovery disk(s) before a crisis occurs. Read your manual (online or otherwise), call the manufacturer, or goto Help and type in "Recovery" or "Recovery Disk".

Are you sure you want to format? I consider this to be the last resort. I have no desire to reinstall everything. If you are interested in trying a repair first:

depending on the laptop you have, they may have provided a recovery partition that it is on the laptop itself to restore it to factory settings... you may search the website of the company who made the laptop to find the certain keystrokes to use it
