Now with Anna Nicole's baby? Money was the motivation. The baby in this case was and still is worth a lot of money. So you had guys coming out of the wood works left and right claiming to be the baby's daddy!

I can't stand the actions of Eddie Murphy and men like him who sleep with women, impregnant them only to adamantly state that they're not the father? Or even worse, dead beat dads! I'm not hatin' on Eddie Murphy but I hope Mel B. gets the financial support that's due her and her baby.

Why am I so up in arms about this? A good majority of Black men have this problem of not owning up to their responsibilities and properly fathering their children! You're probably thinking, "Oh kooties, you sound a little racist against your own people." And to you I say ( o _ 0 ) ?! Please don't get me started! Eddie Murphy and those like him perpetuate the stigma concerning Black men who won't father their children or are dead beat dads. That's one of my pet peeves.

It's simple. They're really just big boys who have sex. I couldn't imagine eating, sleeping, and living in peace and knowing that somewhere my child may not have anything to eat, or a place to sleep or any peace! What's wrong with some of these males? I say males, because all males are NOT men!

I'm with you on this one 100%. When they're so quick to claim they're not the father, it gets me wondering. Quite naturally they know if they were intimate with them, there's a likelihood they fathered a child. It's just been this way for ages, Mama's Baby..Daddy's Maybe?. I think some are so quick to assume that statement as truth. Women more than likely bond to children quicker, because of carrying them.

I don't believe you're being racist, however I have seen some good Black men that own up to their responsiblity. Dead beat dads are one of my pet peeves as well, it breaks down the family unity and strength. It really takes a low individual to deny their child.

Hear, hear. It's a shame, but it's true, a lot of black men don't like to admitt to there responsibilitys. But a lot of woman are ho's and they don't make things any better, for us decent ones! It's so embarressing when a man as famous as Murphy has to act like a tit, cos he's setting a bad example to up and coming would- be fathers. Thank God for my husband, and baby father, a fine example of how black men should be. I take it u r/will be one of da good guys, huh? Respect 2 u to, and a star and a kiss.x

I don't think there is anything wrong with a man asking a woman that he is NOT in a relationship with for a DNA test, or a woman with loose morals(who has admitted to cheating)...I don't think it is a deadbeat action! Really! Would you want to pay child support for a child that you weren't absolutely 100% sure was your child? Of course not! When my SO(mind you-we've been together for a long time)said he wanted a DNA test for our daughter when I was still pregnant with her, I laughed at him. I wasn't insulted. I said, "Okay! SURE! You are going to look like a real @$$hole, but sure!" and because of my response, I didn't hear another word about it. The first words out of his mouth when her face came out of the birth canal? A very teary,"THAT'S MY FACE!!!" When I was pregnant with our son, there wasn't a question in his mind-not that he ever had any reason to question.
NOW, what I am suspicious of, is the women who are asked for DNA tests that put up a fight and act all offended. To me, that is showing like they have something to hide.(For example, 2 of his four other babies' mothers. Lucky for them, the DNA tests proved the kids are his, and he does what he can do for my stepkids.)
Anyway, that's just my take on it.

Because some men are selfish and don't want to take responsibility.

But to tell you the truth, I wouldn't want to admit being the father of Anna's child because that would have meant I slept with her.

They don't want to to step up to the plate and be responsible men and father. I am going through the same thing. My daughter's father refuses to help, his name on birth certificate, ordered to pay child support, doesn't and the state doesn't help either. They are all losers.

i agree with you 100% but could I add..why not go after the women who fall for their CRAP IN THE FIRST PLACE? aren't they just as bad trying to latch on to some guy who may or may not have money?
oh right..its all about love right?

hey i agree with you but i think that's a point often lost on women. it certainly takes two to tango.

They just don't want to take responsibility for their actions.

Because they love having sex but they don't love the consequences and repercussions that come with it. Sad...
