I can picture Hillary Clinton, Barak Obama, or John Edwards being out President. I really can't picture any of the republicans as our next president. If we wind up having another republican as our next president, then our country is really in big trouble.

Our country is already in big trouble... things took a dramatic turn for the worse the moment Dubya was sworn in, and they've gotten steadily more depressing and alarming ever since. I agree that the current batch doesn't seem too promising either however.

No I can't but our best chance is with Hillary. Obama doesnt have any experience and nobody from the Republican Party even has a chance. Their best guy is the actor form Law and Order.
Obama also wants to take out the troops asap and the is going to leave the middle east in even bigger trouble. Hillary wants to take out a few out of a time.
With Hilary you get someone with experience and a ex-president husband that cheated on her.
I dont know why there is 22 people from the Democrats and Republican party running for president with the country in such in bad shape.
Forget everything I just wrote
Lets go get Al Gore to join

I can easily picture any of the Democratic candidates being president, with the possible exception of Gravel. I’m not saying that he wouldn’t be a good president but I just don’t know enough about him, although his stance on most issues seems fine.

Obama, and hopefully Bloomberg will jump in, Obama has the charisma of a great leader, the intelligence to pick up his inexperienced points(like the fact that he has had numerous conversations picking Colin Powells thoughts on foreign relations) and his being the first African American to ever be the editor of the Harvard Law Review shows dedication to excellence, unlike the debate we had in '04 discussing who was the better C student at Yale

Romney LOOKS the part....but Tom Tancredo or Ron Paul so far are the best candidates to actually make a DIFFERENCE in Washington...I wish Fred Thompson would run...I would like to see what he can do for us as well...

I can picture Mitt Romney as president. He is a proven and successful leader.
I can picture Fred Thompson as president. He is a solid conservative. (technically he is not yet a candidate but he is supposed to announce next week).

Putting politics aside, every four years i look at the list of likely candidates and wonder if that's the best we can do.
