Pimp dat ride!!!
Get him one with the monster truck tires and spinning rims!!!
And some bitchin' flames painted on the side.
And some hydraulics, so he can bounce with the senior homies!!
And to power that bad boy:
All aluminum 60 degree V-8 with dual overhead cams, 4 valves per cylinder, dual carbs, dual magnetos, and hemispherical combustion chambers. That's right, that's the same engine as in a WWII Sherman Tank!!!
And some fuzzy dice, you have to have fuzzy dice. I think it's illegal to drive something that badass without fuzzy dice.

If your friend needs one then its a good gift. But be careful that its actually required and will not interfere with any progress or therapy your friend is involved in.

It depends. Which does your friend need most? Whatever your friend needs most is the answer to your question.
