I'm a Broadcast Engineer. I am very fulfilled with my job, if it wasn't for me billions of people wouldn't be watching TV, as a matter of fact I'm controlling multiple international feeds out of NYC right now.

gosh that's a loaded question. is it 'necessary'? depends on what type of priority you give fulfillment in your life. obviously, to some folks, a job is just a job, or so they tell themselves. is it possible for everyone to be fulfilled? i bet it would be if everyone were allowed/able to do a job that truly suited them; i think that folks would naturally fall into different types of jobs, and that everything would still get done. is it necessary for me? YES. 100%. absolutely. it's been the bane of my existence not to find fulfillment in my job(s). you only live once. why spend a moment doing something you don't like? unfortunately, life is also about compromises and responsibilities. heavy question!

I'm in healthcare. Everytime my shift ends and I go home, i evaluate my day, if i feel that I've done my part for the day and I've done it to the best of my abilities and i know that i performed my job above and beyond what is expected of me, yes i feel very fulfilled. Just to think that for that day, you made a slight difference in someone's day or family members day, it's fulfilling.

It's not necessary to feel fulfilled. It's only necessary to get paid. Fulfillment doesn't put food on the table.

i am an emt and i definetly feel fulfilled at the end of the day. but its still hard to get up in the morning. i think its important to love your job but not necessary to enjoy your life. my grandpa picked onions 18 hours a day in the blistering sun but God he was free, he was an american and he was very proud of that. he took pride in his work, even if he didn't like onions. and who wants to pick onions? lol.

I am a student and sometimes I do not feel I have achieved a lot in a normal day unless I have passed a test with flying colours...

Freight Relocation - I schedule freight deliveries across the country, sometimes Canada and Mexico. I am very satisfied with what I do.
Who do you think helps put merchandise in the stores?

I think that it is absolutely neccessary.
My job from 9-5 weekdays is referring terminally, financially strapped patients to services that can get them free transportation to and from treatment. And on Saturdays, I work as a photographer. Great fun. :-)

I don't necessarily feel as much fulfilled as I do dirty and greasy so I take a shower.
