Is unleaded petrol and diesel for cars the same colour?

like a dilluated Fanta, almost white a bit yellowish/orange

both diesel and petrol from the pumps are the same
colour.
now there is other diesels out there that are red and green
there is also an agricultutal diesel but i have never seen what colour that is..

also depending on your home heating if your not using gas u could be using diesel

It's almost colourless.You are obviously thinking of agricultural diesel which has a red dye added to distinguish it from the taxed variety, which helps Customs find people who are using it on the roads.

It's almost colourless to distinguish it from red diesel that has not had excise duty paid on it. Red diesel stains a tank permanently so Customs & Excise can tell if you have ever used it in a road vehicle.

Petrol is white diesel is the same but i have known it to be green

Road fuels are almost clear. Fuels used for off road use, IE lawn tractors etc. have a red die added to them so if they are used i road vehicle(to avoid taxes) they can be fined
