path, I think, leads us through the woods to the lake. If I remember right, it has been 45 years since I was here, but the lake is about 2 miles away.
Bring your suits and fishing gear.
Watch for the Rattlers and If you see a Bear just stand still they don't even know what a human is way up here. It will just stroll away.

Got my boots on so the rattlers don't get me, I have been on the rattlesnake round up in Texas...LoL....always have fishing gear.....It is beautiful up here I love it, so peaceful, birds, frogs, crickets...you can tell no one has been up in awhile, the path is grown over......but at least no beer cans and candy wrappers all over, that tells me no one has found this magical place in a long while...l..got the bug spray handy.....lead on....

I'm not worried, Mike. I grew up around all those things! I packed everything I could possibly need, even more! Hey, Mike! Could you carry some of this for me? It's a little heavier than I thought it would be!

i'll bring my shotgun but i won't use it unless someone get's out of line. i mean the bears or the rattlers. i think we'll be just fine, nothing to fear. catch some fish, drink some dew, or cokes for those who don't drink alcohol, and we'll have a good old time till buk's Bar B Q begins...i realize the two of you's are in on this toghter, Who'd a thunk? sounds like just what i need. i'm ready granddad.

I'm not so sure about this anymore Mike. Rattlers, bears, bugs.... Don't get me wrong, but are you sure you remember the way to the lake?? I'm bringing extra supplies and my cell, just in case.
