Here in the United States, it rains for days on end and causes major flooding. During 1993, there was a huge flood that caused damage all along the Mississippi and Missouri River from Saint Louis MO and all the way back to Kansas City. What caused so much rain was the High Pressure system located to the East of Missouri. This high pressure system formed sort of a wall that kept storm systems from moving through the area quickly. When these storm systems couldn't move, they dumped so much rain over so many days, it caused this widespread flooding. This may be the reason you experienced so much rain.

precipitation causes rain, the heat from the sun evaporating water as the particles build up and become to heavy to remain suspended in the air, as global warming is happening and the climate is changing, the warmer the athmosphere the more precipitation occuring is the only logical outcome, the warmer the athmosphere the less chance there is of snow(as many countries have seen already) so its just gonna rain heavier and heavier, as every place doesnt have the same climate not everyone is gonna see it as much as others

In the south of England we had hardly any rain in April and it was warm enough for wearing just shirt and shorts. I think that has something to do with it. A wet June makes for a hot August and dry a September.
Soon everyone will be complaining that its to hot.

Coz its June, of course. My family who moved overseas refuse to visit til Wimbledon is over. Funny enough, its hard to think of a time, and I've seen some time, when the covers weren't introduced for cricket or tennis at this time of the year.

coz we live on an island in the North Atlantic surrounded by warm air,all that evaporated water has to fall somewhere ,and unfortunatly most of it is falling in Buckinghamshire
