It's a cute name for a little girl, but a bad name for a woman trying to be taken seriously. Paula would be better, with the nickname Polly.

When someone says polly, i think of that old movie pollyanna. but if you like that name a lot than you could use the name Molly. Molly is a more modern name for Polly. So, Polly....Molly.....IT ALL WORKS!!!! i would go with either Sarah Elizabeth, Caroline Claire, or Hadley Grace in my opinion.

I personally don't like the name. I think it's annoying, because it reminds me of "Polly, want a cracker?" and the doll Polly Pocket, so she might be teased.

I love the name. A name is never really old, it just goes on trends. Like suddenly Molly is popular. I think Polly is a wonderful name.
And don't listen to those who gave you negative responce.
This is your baby and the name you have chosen.

I don't dislike the name because its old. (I actually like how older names like Victoria are beind used again.) I dislike it because parents shouldn't give their children names that are obviously going to lead to the child being teased.
Polly Pocket...Polly, want a cracker?..like the others said.
