I find english cases and legal articles very hard to undersand. I have tried checking definition of words which I don't know and re-read but it didn't help. What can I do to really understand cases and legal articles. THANX VERY MUCH....

This is a common difficulty for students and attorneys. I suggest that you read more slowly and write a few notes as you read. Identify the issues, the rules that go with each issue, the explaination of those rules (which is usually in hot debate), and the application of each rule to the issue. You may have to read the case and/or article several times to find everything, but you will get faster at it.

It's the same as if you read books or articles about brain surgery or engineering or astro physics. It takes years of education to understand literature about brain surgery or engineering or astro physics. That's why attorneys go to law school for three years. The law can be very complex and complicated, and difficult to understand for those who do not have the educational background.

You can use a legal dictionary, there is a free one online at http://dictionary.law.com The legal dictionary will be better than a normal dictionary in helping you understand specific legal terms.
